Linfield Spanish Club hosts Salvadoran Night!
MCMINNVILLE, OR — The Linfield Spanish Club will be hosting a culture night on April 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the TA House. The TA House address is 1220 SW Melrose Ave, McMinnville, OR 97128. This event is free and open for all students to participate in and learn how to cook traditional dishes while learning the history of the country. On top of that, students will also listen to music and stories that are traditional and have a cultural significance to El Salvador.
“ I'm excited to share one side of my culture along with Professora Ticas,” said Sofia Parades, Spanish club president. “This is a great opportunity for all students regardless of major or standing to come together and learn about El Salvador!”
The Spanish Club mission is to bring both Spanish- speakers and non-Spanish speakers to connect through the love of the language and the fun experiences that come from it.
